I started writing in earnest while living in Rio de Janeiro some 10 years ago, inspired by a work of the Brazilian writer Manúel Antônio de Almeida. Prior to this time I had only written professional and academic work, the needs of a business career, and then university teaching that provided the opportunity to travel extensively.
My works of non-fiction are extensively individual and social commentaries, together with several books that are designed to give someone starting out a very simple pathway with which to become an abstract painter.
My fiction has proven to be a lot more difficult task than first imagined – but it’s been a great journey and now I have my first novel ready to go, as too its sequels and one other.
They are historical fiction, beginning in the Napoleonic period and carrying through to the twentieth century. Romance, tragedy, love, death and a lot more. First book will be released soon- can’t wait for the others.
Non fiction works recently and soon to be released:
Abstract Painting – All You Need To Know
This is a third edition of the original work published five years ago. Updates and many more examples of abstract paintings from the modern and contemporary periods.
The Happiness Platform
Developed from my first works and encouraged by your responses, it has involved more than three years of dedicated research. Focused on the neurology of the brain, physiology of the body and the cognitive psychological attributes of the mind, it provides a radically new perspective for achieving a balanced happy life.
