Some Reading

These are stories, some very real, others anecdotal, written from experiences, as too beliefs in a “better way.”

You may be able to identify with them.  Or maybe, through the eyes of another, they will give you a fresh perspective.

And, if you are feeling bad, they will open your mind, and give you the motivation and courage to move on to feeling better.

Feeling Bad and Depressed are stories of people I have known and others who have passed by in the darkness of the night.

Stories of sadness and of the burdens some of us carry. Stories that tell you, there are many others out there much worse off than you; telling you, you are not alone.

Some have a funny side. Most have a message, reminding you the darkness is only an illusion, saying reach out, fight tough and stand tall.

Alone and the Streets speaks of people I’ve met on the streets.  The old, the young, those with no other place to go, and those fighting for life regardless of how hard it’s got.

Children firstly tells of a little child who finds worth in an old man discarded by time. And then, of others, conveying the message “there is worth in all of us.”

Nature talks of the beauty of this earth, reminding us it is a powerful force that cannot be ignored.

Opinions, Politics and Truths are stories descriptive of this wider, testing world in which we live – because many of our individual personal troubles are linked to those of the community and the societies we occupy; in most cases tied together and interlinked in numerous and sometimes cloudy, confusing ways.

So, if we are going to talk about one thing, it makes sense to talk about others – individual and personal issues alongside the broader social/economic/environmental problems such as the distribution of wealth and societal truths, interlinked and inseparable in this great big world we all occupy.

The Ways to Feeling Better are short stories telling of ways you can move forward, feel good, get rid of the bad, and live a happy, healthy life.

They convey messages, some short and sharp, others more substantive delivering themes, motivation, actions, a positive attitude to life.

They are written to make you think again. Do what you need to do to feel good.

And there’s one other thing. When you have the time, take a look, have the think, and when you’re ready, do something good “out there” to make it better for all of us.
